MapGuide Open Source

Visit Introducing MapGuide Open Source Services Demo page page for a live demo site. As discussed on our Services page, we are now offering MapGuide Open Source services. MapGuide Open Source was contributed to the GIS community and is now owned and governed by the foundation. The software no longer has any ownership affiliation with Autodesk. Also, this software is of a completely different architecture than the "old" MapGuide and is the web map server software of the future. We have been using the software since the alpha releases and are very familiar with and have extensively programmed using the new API. In addition, our founder Andy Morsell, sits on the board of the MapGuide Open Source Project Steering Committee. In our demo site, we are using the HTML viewer which uses AJAX technology and requires no plugin or download.

These services include streaming your data from a web map server (yours or ours) as dynamic layers to Google Earth as well as the development of custom programming to display and link to other information that you may already be maintaining. We also provide services to batch convert your data to the KML (Keyhole markup language) format that will work with Google Earth. Please click on the above screenshots for larger images.
